This Sunday Ken Boer led us in singing as we celebrated the coming of Jesus Christ, our hope of salvation.

In the first service we started with Emmanuel, Emmanuel, and then sang the first half of God Over All:

God over all
Giver of life and health and breath
I want to sing of Your love
Came as a man
Humble You died the sinner’s death
I want to sing of Your love

We celebrated as 5 youth were baptized, and then sang the remainder of God Over All.  A few prophecies were shared, and then we concluded with What Child is This and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.

In the second service there were no baptisms, so our order was a little different: Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, Emmanuel, Emmanuel, What Child is This, and When Love Came Down.

Joshua Harris preached a message titled “Simeon’s Bucket List” from Luke 2.

After the message we concluded with Soon, Hosanna, Hail to the King, and choruses based on the refrain of O Come All Ye Faithful.
