Ken Boer led us singing God’s praise this Sunday.  We sang:

You have Been Raised

Everlasting God

Beautiful savior

Joshua Harris preached a message from Psalm 130.

After the message we closed with I need You and You Alone Can Rescue.

This Sunday Jamison Lyman and the choir led us.  We began with How Great Is Your Faithfulness, and then watched several people be baptized.

Now unto the King who reigns over all

And never changes or turns

Unfailing justice, unfailing grace

Whose promises remain

Yes, Your promises remain

We then sang Christ Is Risen.  Just as Christ was raised from the dead, so are we raised to new life.

Christ is risen from the dead

Trampling over death by death

Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave

Christ is risen from the dead

We are one with Him again

Come awake, come awake, come and rise up from the grave

The choir led us in learning Behold Our God.

Joshua Harris preached a message from Isaiah 40, and then we sang Behold Our God again.

This Sunday Ken Boer led us in singing God’s praise.  We sang:

The Saving One

Ken introduced Our God and our focus on singing about God’s power to act, even (especially!) when things are difficult.

Our God

Scripture Readings from Isaiah 64:4, Jeremiah 31:25, Zechariah 4:6, Jeremiah 32:17, and Psalm 68:35), and little more of Our God.

We followed this up with a portion of Mighty to Save (first meeting) and Stronger (2nd meeting).

Joshua Harris preached a message from John 13:34-35 titled “Love“.  During communion we listened to Beneath The Cross by Keith and Kristyn Getty, and then after communion we sang it together.  It fit well with both our taking of the Lord’s Supper as well as a response to the message.

Beneath the cross of Jesus
I find a place to stand,
And wonder at such mercy
That calls me as I am;
For hands that should discard me
Hold wounds which tell me, “Come.”
Beneath the cross of Jesus
My unworthy soul is won.

Beneath the cross of Jesus
His family is my own—
Once strangers chasing selfish dreams,
Now one through grace alone.
How could I now dishonor
The ones that You have loved?
Beneath the cross of Jesus
See the children called by God.

We then closed with Before the Throne (2nd meeting only).

This Sunday Ken Boer led us in singing God’s praise.  We sang:

My Hope Is Built

Reading from Isaiah 43:1-5

How Firm A Foundation

God Moves

In Christ Alone

Joshua Harris preached on The Fathers Discipline from Hebrews 12:1-11.  We followed up with Give Us Clean Hands, and then sang one more song (To You, O Lord in the first meeting, and O Great God in the 2nd).

This Sunday Jamison Lyman led us in singing God’s praise.  We sang: Praise The LordJesus Paid It AllMighty To Save, and All I Have Is Christ

Joshua Harris preached a message titled “Stand for Truth with a Tear in Your Eye” from 2 Kings 22:10-13.  We closed with Amazing Grace.

This Sunday we were led by Eric McAllister and the choir.  We sang:

Let Everything That Has Breath

Baptisms in the 1st meeting / What A Savior in the 2nd meeting

Erin, Eric, & the choir then sang People Get Ready as a reminder of Christ’s return in connection Jeff Purswell’s message the week prior.
